Lanya's Custody Battle: A Mother's Plea

Hi all, Lanya here! For those who don’t know me, I am a single mom of four beautiful kids: Gracee, Ivy, Deacon, and Dutton. For the last 8 months, I’ve been in an exhausting and highly stressful custody battle with the father of my twins. I’m fortunate enough to have a great co-parenting relationship with my daughter’s father and have always strived to maintain their best interests before our own, making mutual co-parenting decisions together and amicably. Unfortunately, this is not the case with my sons' father. Despite many attempts to build a trusting and accountable co-parenting relationship with honest communication, this has consistently not been met.

In January, I was put in a situation where my parenting was questioned by him, and the boys were unjustly taken from me for two weeks. Luckily, I was able to obtain an incredible lawyer and reclaim my reputation as a mother, proving every day since my ability to give my sons the very best upbringing alongside my well-rounded daughters.

I’m asking for help to cover the remaining attorney fees to finish this exhausting and difficult custody case so that the 5 of us can finally have peace and move forward. I don’t receive any support from him or anyone else. I try not to ask for anything, and I’m extremely humbled to be asking now for support, but I thank you tremendously for any small contribution.
