This past February our family received news that no family should ever hear: my mom was diagnosed with an advanced form of cancer. Due to this turn of events, my mom is going to need all the love and support her family can give.

My brother and I will be taking turns traveling down to California to provide support to her and our dad. This fund will help pay our travel expenses, as well as help recuperate lost wages from leaves from work. My first leave will be at the end of April, and the more help we receive, the more time I get to spend with her.

In short, the greater the contribution, the more time and presence my brother and I can provide her during this truly difficult time. All your love, support, and prayers are greatly welcomed and appreciated as we deal with this challenging and unfamiliar road.
