La’Niyah “Lala” Clark was deeply loved. She was vibrant, expressive, strong-willed, funny, creative, and full of life. She experienced the world in her own powerful way. Lala was deaf, and she navigated life with resilience, emotion, and intensity. She could light up a room with her personality and test your patience in the same breath — and we loved every bit of who she was becoming. She deserved safety. She deserved protection. She deserved to come home.
On January 17, 2026, Lala was reported missing. On February 21, 2026, she was found deceased. This is now an active homicide investigation. Our family is devastated beyond words. Many people have reached out asking how they can help. We are incredibly grateful for the prayers, messages, meals, and support we have already received.
This fund has been created to assist with funeral and memorial expenses, counseling and support services for our family, legal and advocacy efforts to ensure accountability, and future initiatives in Lala’s name to support vulnerable and missing children. We are committed to honoring Lala not only in grief, but in action. Her life mattered. Her story matters. And we will work to ensure her name brings awareness and change so that no other family experiences this kind of loss.
If you feel led to contribute, please know that every donation, share, and prayer means more than we can express. Thank you for loving our daughter. Lala was loved. She is loved. She will never be forgotten.
