Lanita's Heartfelt Plea for Her Son

Hello, I'm Lanita Blankenship. I'm starting this GoFundMe due to the fact that I lost my son on April 11th, 2025. I live in Arizona. He got out of PDC in Perry, Georgia on April 7th, and he was due to arrive in Arizona to live with me as soon as his interstate compact went through. However, he didn't make it. He struggled with mental illness and addiction. We were working on each other. I had heart surgery in July of last year, and my son was in Georgia; however, he made it possible to come out here and take care of me through my time of need. And now, I'm struggling to bring him home. I'm reaching out because I really need help. This is the hardest thing I've been through in my whole life. A parent should never have to bury their children. I'm trying to raise money to bring him home, and every little bit would help. I pray and pray for guidance and understanding from God. And I know God will provide. I'm really not asking for much. God bless you. Please pray for us. This proceeds will be used for bringing my son home to me. And to find him a final resting place.
