Lanie's Road to Recovery Needs Your Help

On July 13, 2025, our beloved Elanie (“Lanie”) was involved in a devastating ATV accident that tragically claimed the life of her boyfriend and left her in critical condition.

Lanie was airlifted to UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA, where she remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Her injuries are extensive and include fractured ribs and facial bones, a broken arm and wrist, and a traumatic brain injury that caused a brain bleed. She is currently intubated but stable, and while doctors are hopeful for her survival, her recovery will be long, painful, and emotionally challenging.

In addition to coping with the heartbreaking loss of her partner, Lanie will be unable to work for the foreseeable future. Despite her condition, her monthly responsibilities—such as rent, car payments, groceries, and utilities—will continue. On top of that, the medical costs are already mounting.

Her family and close friends have been by her side nonstop, staying in nearby hotels, covering meals, and arranging transportation to and from the hospital—all of which add to the financial strain.
