Langston Oliver is a jazz trumpeter who has been accepted to the prestigious Tribeca Jazz Institute at Church Street School for Music & Art. Langston has been involved in the jazz community in Jacksonville, Florida, and has worked with non-profit organizations like the Jazz Discovery Series and the John Lumpkin Institute. He hopes to build strong connections and broaden his knowledge of jazz music at the institute, which will be an invaluable experience in helping him hone his craft as a musician.

Langston Oliver is a professional trumpet player and instructor based in Jacksonville, FL. By the age of thirteen, he was a two-time participant in the Juilliard Jazz Camp and, at fifteen, won The Sound of Jazz To Come award at the Stanford Summer Jazz Academy. He has attended multiple summers at Clark Atlanta University's Jazz workshop and at eighteen was one of only forty-two musicians worldwide to be accepted into the Jazz At Lincoln Center Academy, where he studied with Wynton Marsalis. After graduating from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, Langston studied jazz at Jacksonville University until 2022.
