We are very sad to share the loss of our beloved colleague and friend Jon Leano who passed away from COVID-19 on April 23, 2020. Jon was a Bellman and part of our team for 22 years, he is most known for his giving and caring nature. Jon is survived by his wife and mother, who are also fighting the virus. The hotel has launched a very special initiative, “Race to Hong Kong,” to raise funds in celebration of the life of Jon and to assist with memorial expenses.
The Race To Hong Kong challenge is a virtual journey of 7,234 miles from our hotel in Pasadena to home office in Hong Kong. All colleagues are invited to contribute miles by walking, running or cycling to reach the final destination in time for TLLON’s 155th birthday on June 10, 2020.
Sponsorships and donations can be made using our designated GoFundMe page. Colleagues who wish to participate can track their running/cycling on the Social Network app Strava, or compile manually internally with evidence support.
