Hello, my name is Laney Rhodes. I’m 19 years old and a sophomore in college. I have wrestled since 7th grade. Last year, I went to Saint Andrews University for wrestling and toward the end of spring semester they shut down with no warning. I ended up staying closer to home to finish the rest of my college experience, and I now attend Converse University where I have decided to start a wrestling club.

Obviously this is quite pricey, and with it being a club rather than an official sport, the things we need come straight from me. So I’m here to ask for some help to get some basic needs for the room: mats (which I used my personal savings to pre-purchase), mat cleaner, mat mop, mat mop pads, and mat tape.

While that doesn’t sound like much, these supplies are very expensive, and I can’t afford to do it all on my own. It would also be amazing to be able to get the team things throughout the year such as t-shirts, funds for attending local wrestling events, and things that other clubs get to do. In the end, anything helps, and I’m so thankful for everyone’s support. Thank you!
