LaNette Thirkell's Cancer Crusade

My name is LaNette Thirkell. Never in my wildest thoughts did I ever think it would be necessary to write something like this. As a preschool paraeducator, life was about smiles, snacks, learning and impacting my three to five year olds every day. Fighting a disease like cancer was not part of the plan.

Of course, monthly expenses for me and my husband Scott are now an issue, as we are now reduced to only his monthly income. However, my will is strong and I have been accepted to a wonderful treatment center a few states away. I'm asking for your help to cover weekly expenses including travel and lodging while at the center, as well as the costs of weekly treatment, experimental treatments and clinical trials to which I may have access.
