Lane Tech Debate teams

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit the LT Debate Booster Club, we support the Lane Tech Argumentative Literacy class as student debaters by paying for tournament fees, covering travel expenses, paying for required judges and supplemental coaching. Any donation will help make an impact.

From the team co-captain: Lane Tech College Prep Debate has a budget that is 1/20th the amount of the Chicago suburban teams we compete against. Yes, we are city kids; we are scrappy! We don’t have a dedicated coach; the Varsity members teach and coach the novices. And we hold our own against the better-funded teams. We are always trying to push our program to new heights. Our debate team dedicates themselves to the year-round pursuit of greatness in the field of debate competition! Your support will help us offer a higher quality high school debate experience for all our kids.
