Hi, Lane is on the list to get a bilateral lung transplant. He has been suffering for several years and getting worse all the time. This operation is going to be very expensive and even though there is insurance, the drugs that are needed afterwords are only partially covered. I will have to take time off work to help him through this and take care of him. I will not get paid for all of the time off and will be on FMLA, which means even less funds for us. He loves spending time with his grandkids and misses not being able to really spend quality time with them. This operation would give him much more quality of life.
