Love and Care for Lane and Crystal

I'm Lane's sister, Janet. It is so hard to watch loved ones hurt and undergo circumstances that cannot be explained. When you're in the thick of difficult situations that's when you realize you need the support of your friends and family the most. For this, we humbly ask for your help!

On Tuesday, September 20, 2022, Crystal went in the hospital for surgery. Two days later we learned that she had a massive infection. Crystal was put in ICU on a ventilator with a 50% chance of survival. She spent 90 days at LMC, 40 days at Continued Care at Prisma Baptist, and was moved on Thursday, January 26th to Midlands Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Elgin. Crystal continues to get stronger each day, and we give God the praise and glory for this healing.

On December 29th, Lane was admitted to LMC with extremely swollen legs and severe pain. He was in renal failure and is now on dialysis for the rest of his life. A few days later, Lane underwent a surgical procedure for a pacemaker. On Tuesday, January 24th Lane was moved to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital. Lane continues to improve and hopefully will come home on Tuesday, February 7th.
