My name is Landy. I am a Senior in high school, and my greatest dream is to attend college. I am a first-generation Hispanic student from a low-income family. I am also DACA, meaning I was born in Mexico but have lived in the US for over 11 years, so I have some more barriers with that. I am trying to raise money to go to college. I have spent my last 11 years working hard with my grades, and I currently have an unweighted GPA of 3.98 and weighted GPA of 4.29. I live with my mom and 2 sisters, and I want to set a great example for my sisters so they dream of going to college, too. I want to make my family and friends proud, and attending college would definitely fulfill my life. I would be extremely thankful to anyone willing to help me out. School plays an incredibly huge part of my life, and all I want is to attend college. Thank you in advance to everyone. **UPDATE: I'm entering my third year of college! I have to pay out of state tuition, but thanks to my scholarships from senior year, my mom and I could be ahead of saving for future semesters. I'm on the President's List at Georgia Gwinnett College, and I'm a member of my school's honors program. I am majoring in Biology with a concentration in Biochemistry, and medical school is still the plan. However, money is growing tighter. The past two years have been very rough at home, but I have made it this far. No quitting!
