Hey guys my name is Landon Allgood I'm 21 years old and I love to sing & make music. I live with a condition called Addison's Disease. You get this disease when your immune system turns on itself and targets your adrenal glands damaging them dramatically. Adrenal Glands are very important to have in your body they give you hormones like adrenaline, aldosterone, & sodium. My body does not produce these things and so I take two different medications everyday Hydrocortisone and Fludrocortisone. I also carry an injection in case my body goes into adrenal failure. This has happened many times and the first time it happened I was days away from dying if it wasn't for the doctors at Akron's Children's Hospital I would not be writing this here today. I have recently received a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to Los Angeles and record a couple songs with a well known producer. I would greatly appreciate it if anybody would be generous enough to help me reach for my dreams. Music makes me feel like I'm not sick and that I live in a normal body. I want to show everybody that deals with any type of condition that you can achieve anything you put your mind to. Dreams do come true for the people that put the work in and do not give up on the calling that God has laid out in front of us. Thank you so much.
