Landon Schiro's cancer journey

My name is Lillian. I am only 1 but i have a very important story to tell you. On April 17, 2020 my family's life changed dramatically. My hero (my daddy) went to the clinic for some tummy pain and was sent to the hospital for emergency surgery to remove his gallbladder. He came home to me with a big incision on his tummy so I had to be gentle with him! Because of the big incision, he couldn't work for a while. Anyone who knows my daddy knows that he doesn't sit still much!
My daddy's gallbladder was sent to be looked at and they discovered a 6 1/2 centimeter malignant tumor inside. After a round of scans, my daddy found out he had some cancerous spots on his liver too. On May 22, my daddy started chemotherapy. He has to have 9 weeks of chemotherapy then get another round of scans. If the spots have responded to the chemo the way the doctor wants, then he will have radiation treatment which will hopefully put him into remission. Sadly, this cannot be cured, only kind of controlled through monitoring and treatment.
Through all of this, mommy and daddy have kept on working, but with the added expenses that aren't covered by insurance and travel expenses, money is tight so I am asking for just a little bit of help so my mommy and daddy don't have to worry about the money so much!
As an incentive, my uncle Gordy Anderson has offered up his amazing beard once we reach our goal! He said that when we have raised $1,500.00 he will shave his head and if we can raise $3,000.00 he will shave his beard! I've never seen him without a beard and I guess some people haven't seen him without one since 2002!!!
Even if you can't give money, please share our story with your friends and family so they may help us too!
