Landon Ray Fuller Memorial Services

This GoFundMe campaign is organized by the Holcomb Family on behalf of the the Fuller family.  Any help covering the costs of the memorial, cremation, and celebration of life services for Landon Ray Fuller will be greatly appreciated by the family, who is currently experiencing economic hardship due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Any additional funds will be used to assist the family with living and physical and mental healthcare expenses as they seek professional services to cope with the grief of the tragic loss of their beloved son and brother. You may also feel free to reach out to the family in person to support them during this most difficult period of bereavement. Thank you for your time, consideration, shares, and donations

Landon Ray Fuller, age 11, was born on March 16, 2009, and died tragically on April 23, 2020, near his home in Hobbs, New Mexico. He was born at home with West Texas Birth Center to James and Katrina Fuller, who welcomed and dedicated him to God with love. Landon lived in Hobbs his entire life and was homeschooled until 2019 when he started 5th grade at Mills Elementary School. Throughout his life, he played soccer, coach pitch, flag and tackle football, and swim and dive. Landon was also involved as a performer in school theater productions and as a member of Christian Center Church. He wanted to be a super hero, police officer, firefighter, anesthesiologist, or professional football player when he grew up.

Landon was extraordinarily curious and intelligent and had many interests, including Marvel’s Iron Man and DC’s The Flash, watching Dragon Ball Z and Naruto, drawing super hero and anime characters, playing Minecraft video games, building master Lego designs, collecting and trading Pokemon cards, reading Harry Potter and Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, and singing and dancing to Panic! At the Disco and Queen. It was rare to see him without his signature beaming smile, and the gleam in his eyes spoke to his charm, humor, and mischievous spirit.

Landon was a handsome, little boy who gave love freely and was loved by all who knew him in return. His great loves in life were his family, friends, and dog, Quinn. While under stay-at-home orders due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Landon missed school and his friends, keeping in contact with others through social media, texts, and phone calls. In that respect, he was irrepressible and often highly inventive and resourceful. Even in the midst of a quarantine, his social butterfly wings could not be clipped, and he was able to fly. His love for people and life was so powerful, he could not be kept down.

Landon will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his parents, James and Katrina Fuller of Hobbs, his sisters, Serenity and Aurora Fuller of Hobbs, his paternal grandparents, Ted and Debbie Fuller of Temple, Texas, his maternal grandparents, Jerry and Geva Bellis of Palo Pinto, Texas, and James and Stacey Driver of Big Spring, Texas, his paternal great-grandparents, Herb and Vera Walker of Odessa, Texas,  his maternal great-grandmother, Louise Driver of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, his maternal great-grandfather, Bobby Driver of Big Spring, Texas, numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends, and the entire community of Hobbs.

A private viewing for immediate family will be held this week at Chapel of Hope. A private memorial service for immediate family and friends will be held on May 1, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. at Christian Center Church with Pastor Jotty Kinney officiating and will be available for public viewing on Facebook Live. A public celebration of life for all family, friends, and community will also be held at a later date. The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation and sincerely thank everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy during this most difficult period of bereavement.
