My name is Shawne and I am raising funds for my youngest son Landon, my daughter-in-law Jennifer, and my youngest grandchild Micah. They have recently found that their home they were renting is full of toxic mold. They were told to leave immediately and not take anything with them. Micah has a gene mutation that does not allow his body to process toxins, and this was affecting his health, which is why they initially did the mold testing, as they were looking for answers. Essentially, they have lost their entire household due to the extent of the mold, which is not visible in the home. The spores are too small to see and the visible mold is inside the walls, which is why it was undetected for so long. They had renter's insurance, but they have refused to cover this. They will also incur extensive medical bills to detox Micah, and as he has to use natural remedies, it is not covered by insurance.

This is not something any of us ever thought we would be doing as we have always taken care of ourselves; however, we are overwhelmed and not sure how to move forward as they are having to start completely from scratch.
