Help Landon get a service dog

Hi, my name is Michelle and we are fundraising for a service dog to help my son Landon. He was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at the age 3 in 2014.

Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a neurological genetic condition that causes progressive muscle degeneration and weakness due to the lack of dystrophin that affects the whole body.

Landon is in a wheelchair full time and needs more help every year. Having the help of a service dog would be so beneficial for him physically as well as mentally. The service dog would be able to aid his mobility while in his wheelchair, assist with everyday tasks, and provide companionship and comfort from school to appointments and trips to the hospital. We are hopefully looking at this summer!

New Horizons Service Dogs is a non-profit organization that partners trained dogs with the disabled, mostly in the area of wheelchair and mobility assistance. They are located in here in Central Florida and have helping people since 1995.

New Horizons changes lives, please support their amazing cause. These dogs not only provide assistance for the disabled but also provide comfort and companionship
