We believe in freedom, equal rights and even rebellion when necessary.
That said, we are torn by the difficult decision in front of us. Do we defy the governments order to shut down our business to support our employees right to work and earn income to feed their family and pay their rent or do we shut down to do our part to help slow the spread of a deadly disease for the greater good of our community, County, State and Country.
After hearing the voices of all of our dedicated employees and weighing pros and cons we’ve decided that Landers Liquor Bar will follow the shut down order for the next three weeks.
We have decided to donate our perishable food items to local food banks and have created a go fund Landers page for any of you who are in a position to help us. We are pushing to raise $12,000 with the money used to help the food donation effort as well as subsidize our employees wages and rent.
We are all in this together and trying to do the right thing.
