Hello, my son Landen was diagnosed with Transposition Of The Great Vessel at birth. He's 13 years old now. The tender age of 2 weeks and 3 months old he'd experienced two open heart surgeries. He was scheduled to have surgery the year of 2022. Unforseen he got sick with endocarditis and was hospitalized for almost three months.

With several follow-ups and being closely monitored, he has made a beautiful recovery. December 12, 2024 he's undergoing a two part surgery (Reconstruction, Artery, Pulmonary w/ Cardiopulmonary Bypass). As his mom I'm scared, but I have faith in God.

 

Landen, love sports, playing his games, and pushes himself despite his circumstances. Resilient to say the least. Overall he's very optimistic and a happy kid.

 

After, years of research Children's Hospital of Atlanta referred us to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto, California.
