Land subsidence under family home!

Hi, my name is Giles, I'm from the UK , but live in Portugal with my wife Kate, and our two children.

After very heavy rainfall this season in Portugal, the terrace on which our beautiful mountain house sits, has slid out from under us.

We are literally hanging off the edge of a cliff!

We have put 15 years of hard work into building and maintaining this our home, for ourselves, and the many people who have visited and stayed with us over this time.

We are insured, but the insurance company is disputing what is actually covered. In the meantime we need urgently to make the house safe again, and start the repairs. Currently we are unable to meet all of these costs, so this is a calling to anyone who is in a position to help us. Either with a donation, or possibly later with offers of labour as the house is located down a small track which makes the job, and access difficult and expensive.
