My name is Lisa (Koch) Beaty, and I would like to share that my brother and first friend, Lance Koch, has recently been diagnosed with metastatic disease, commonly known as cancer, which has spread to his liver, kidney, and bladder. Lance is currently on FMLA from the Department of Transportation as he begins this challenging battle. Being single, he relies solely on his own income, and this diagnosis has made him acutely aware of the financial burdens he will face.
