Lance and Jackie Couch Medical Fund

On March 30 th Jackie Couch tore her ACL and meniscus and will need surgery. She has been off work since that time. Her surgery has had to be postponed, because her husband Lance Couch went into A-fib on April 5th requiring a cardioversion which lead to a heart surgery that went terribly wrong, leading to 3 additional emergency open heart surgeries, dialysis, and a transfer to UK Medical Center in Lexington. After 10 grueling days of trying everything possible to save Lance, he lost his fight with undiagnosed heart disease on April 14th. So we are in the process of making final arrangements for him.
Jackie is still hobbling around needing surgery, which will come sometime in May. So she will be without any income for a few months and when she is able to return to work, she will start getting her pay again, but Lances income is gone forever which was 60% of the household income. The medical expenses for the 2 of them are going to be astronomical and she is going to have to do the best she can with 40% of the income she makes once that resumes following her surgery and rehab.
Please consider making a donation to help her stay afloat during this terribly difficult time (both emotionally and financially). She has truly lost her best friend and the love of her life. Let’s help her to not lose their home as well.
