Lancaster City Track Club
The Lancaster City Track Club was founded in 2013 and has helped keep kids “on the right track” ever since. We have used the sport of track and field and mentorship to help our kids become better track and field athletes, better citizens, and better people. In 2015 we joined Lancaster PAL (police athletic league) and our mission and goals became even greater. We realized then that often young kids have negative views of the Police and that around our country there were some very negative interactions of youth and the police that were going viral on Facebook and other social media platforms. Our goal was to have youth work with some of our city’s great cops and to build positive relationships between the two and help change our community for the better.
We have had some great successes. Our kids have competed all over the country, we have had several USATF Junior Olympic All-Americans, have had several kids go to college and compete in college. Destinies have been changed and lives of our youth have been changed for the better through this club.
The last 4 years Auntie Anne’s has graciously come along side us to help fund our program through their C.A.R.E.S committee and golf tournament. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 the tournament has been canceled. We need your help!! Any funds donated will go directly to helping our kids. We are still hoping to do meets this summer but will have to travel to do so. Please consider donating to help our club continue to do its work. Thank you so much in advance!!
