With the deepest sadness and unbearable pain, I am sharing this hardly acceptable news that our beloved Lana, my niece passed away unexpectedly and too soon. A car collision took her life while she was crossing the road on the evening of November 11th, 2024, in Croatia. She was 17 and only a few months from her 18th birthday.

Lana was and still is our most beautiful angel. She was gifted to our family and to all who knew her by God and Heaven, to be our everyday light in this too short a time on Earth. She showed us what really matters, and how to love unconditionally. She was a human with the biggest heart and the greatest number of friends. She loved life more than anyone and was ready for a song and dance in any given moment. She gave so much joy and laughter, and was so easy to love.

Our lives have ended and don’t make sense anymore, but I’m sure our Lanči will find a way to lighten our lives from above and show us how to continue.

No amount of money or material goods can erase this pain, but every donation will be given to my sister, Lana’s mom Edisa, to ease her financial burden in this tragic situation.

S dubokom tugom i nepodnošljivom boli dijelim još preteško prihvatljivu vijest da je naša Lana, moja nećakinja preminula 12.11.2024. u naletu automobila pri prelasku ceste. Lana je bila naš najljepši anđeo na Zemlji, kojeg je našoj obitelji i svima koji ju poznaju Bog darovao da za ovo prekratko vrijeme na ovom svijetu svojom ljubavlju osvijetli naše živote. Lana je imala najveće srce, i najveći broj prijatelja, anđeo koji nam je iz dana u dan pokazivao što najviše vrijedi i kako voljeti bezuvjetno. Puna života, spremna za pjesmu i ples u bilo kojem trenutku. Toliko radosti i smijeha i pozitive je tako lako dijelila, i tako ju je bilo lako voljeti. Naši životi su stali, ali znamo da će nam naša Lanči odozgora i s ljepšeg mjesta osvijetliti i pokazati put i način kako dalje. Zauvijek u našim srcima si Lanči, beskrajno te volimo.

Iako trenutno nikakva materijalna stvar ne može ublažiti ovu bol, svaka novčana donacija će biti dodijeljena njenoj majci Edisi, kao financijska pomoć oko ove tragične situacije.
