LAM College Scholarship
Tax deductible
Each year the Chicana Latina Foundation (CLF) awards about 31 merit-based scholarships to Latina college students, valued at $1,500 each.
This year, LAM would like to give the gift of education to one of these outstanding and well-deserving Latinas.
Please help us reach our communal goal of $1,500 so that we can present a scholarship to one of these Latinas on behalf of our LAM Members at the CLF Annual Dinner Gala on September 20th.
The awardees are women from many walks of life. The common factor in all is that they are resourceful women who are on their way towards reaching their goals. Most have faced many struggles but have learned from their hardships as a way to build strength towards reaching their dreams. They are studying in all fields from the Sciences, Medical, Educational, Legal and everything in between. We have Ph.D. candidates, masters, UC's and State and Private Universities and well as Community Colleges.
