Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Molly Martin. I recently relocated to Arizona and am looking forward to becoming an active/supportive member of our Arizona Dressage Family. Since the ’80s, I have been dedicated to Classical Dressage, riding all levels, with successful advancement to Grand Prix on numerous horses. I’ve competed and earned top honors, Regionally, Nationally, and Internationally. Proudly, I am one of 67 riders in the country to earn the USDF Diamond Achievement Award. I aim to collaborate with riders/trainers/barns in Arizona to foster and expand our profile.

I am currently bringing along R U 4 Me, a six-year-old Oldenburg we affectionately refer to as ‘Teddy’, who, in his first two competitions, was the highest scoring horse for the weekend. In 4 shows, he has earned 4 High Score Awards. He is currently undefeated at Training Level, First Level, and the First Level Freestyle. R U 4 Me is qualified for State and Regional Championships, where we plan to compete. We are now competing in the FEI 6-year-old division with scores to 79.6. He shows great promise for excelling in the sport of FEI Dressage, including a recent invitation to Gladstone for the National Championships for 6-year-olds. Last week, I had a conversation with a well-known and respected FEI judge who said that we should aim very high and have tremendous potential. Qualifying and receiving an invitation to Gladstone equates to Teddy being one of the top horses in the Nation. Teddy has a very promising future ahead of him, no doubt!

The trip to the Nationals is an expensive one. In addition to the hauling fees, there will be two weeks of stabling, feed, bedding, show entry, hotel, car, and airfare in addition to lost income while away. In all, the trip will cost $8-10,000.
