The “Lamont C Hughes Legacy Fund“
Lamont Cordell Hughes departed this life on September 9, 2021. Lamont had been battling stomach cancer since May of 2020 and could fight no longer.
This GoFundMe page is being set up as the foundation for the "Lamont C Hughes Legacy Fund" for his daughter, Anisa, the love of his life. Unfortunately Lamont did not have any life insurance policies. It is also imperative to note that Lamont was a leukemia survivor which can make it extremely difficult acquiring life insurance as some companies require a 10 year period of remission or charge ridiculously high premiums. Please be mindful of these difficult and uncontrollable circumstances when you give. It takes a village… Anisa, we got you, sweetheart!
