In moving to Lake Tahoe last summer, Mike and Taylor found themselves in a beautiful location, with great jobs and non-stop outdoor activities. They've embraced the lake lifestyle and now call Tahoe their home.

On March 9th, Mike had a terrible snowboarding accident at Mt Rose Ski Resort. He sustained multiple injuries that included a dislocated shoulder, bruised lungs, lumbar spine fracture, a separated pelvis, and a broken leg. Mike was immediately rushed to the trauma ICU at Renown Hospital where he underwent surgery to place a metal plate in his pelvis and metal rod in his leg.

The Lamanna's have been navigating through medical bills and have discovered that he is not eligible for short term disability because he has been at his job for less than 1 year. He also does not qualify for any work assistance or programs because of the same time requirement.

As reality hits, medical bills are amounting to $10K+ (after insurance) and with lack of income from the time away from work, we are asking for your help.
