Lama get out of Gaza & to safety

Meet Lama Dalloul, a spirited 19-year-old from Palestine, Gaza strip. Lama is not just any ordinary teenager. She is a beacon of hope, an embodiment of resilience, and a testament to the strength of the human spirit.

Lama's journey is one of ambition and determination. Despite the challenges she faced growing up in Gaza, she excelled in her studies and harbored dreams of becoming a great translator. Her passion for languages and her dream to pursue higher education in translation kept her going, even in the face of adversity.

However, everything changed on October 7th—a day that turned Lama's world upside down. The war that engulfed her city not only robbed her of her loved ones but also shattered her dreams of pursuing a university education. For six months, Lama endured unimaginable suffering and struggled to survive amidst the chaos and destruction.

But Lama refuses to give up. She refuses to let the horrors of war define her future. With unwavering determination, she has set her sights on a new beginning—a journey to Egypt in search of safety, stability, and the opportunity to rebuild her life.

Yet, Lama cannot embark on this journey alone. The exorbitant costs of travel and living expenses stand as insurmountable barriers in her path. That's where you come in.
