Lakyn Furvivors Needs Our Help

Last night, Lakyn, the Founder of Furvivors Horse Rescue and Farm Animal Sanctuary, was involved in a near fatal accident. As Lakyn was driving, she swerved, not wanting to hit a deer who was crossing the road. If you know her, she always puts the animals before herself. She sustained several severe injuries, both external and internal. At this moment, her recovery period is unknown but it will require her to abstain from physical activities for a period of time. She is the driving force and main animal caretaker behind Furvivors.

I have started this GFM campaign to help the organization hire help, as well as not have to worry about fundraising for feed for a couple of months. It will allow Lakyn to have some peace of mind during this tragic and trying time.

I also wanted to note that during an extremely difficult time for OUR sanctuary, over a year ago, Lakyn stepped up to help on numerous occasions. Even though she had her own rescue and sanctuary to run, she drove over an hour each way to help us. I am asking everyone to please come together to help her the way that she has helped so many animals and people in the past.
