Lakisha’s Hope

Hello, My name is Carmalie Sims and I am the

mother of Lakisha D. Budgewater.

Lakisha was recently diagnosed on May 9, 2022 with Breast Cancer. It is in the early stages, but it is aggressive.

This news has been a shock ,but we know and

trust that God will not only heal, but provide all

her needs.

As many of you know Lakisha is a hairstylist, and she depends on the funds from the salon to

make her living. Although she has health

insurance, she does not have a job which

provides a monthly salary.

Her arduous task has already begun with

the weekly process of doctor visits and

testing . Her initial surgery is

scheduled for June 29, 2022.

She will undergo chemotherapy after the

surgery, along with the reconstructive

procedures. This alone will be about 3 months

with no income.

She has a support team, but we alone cannot do it all. We want to make sure her bills are met.
