Lakey Peak Skatepark Fundraiser

Hi there, As you know Lakey Peak is our second home. We have been going there for over 20years now.

During Covid, a lovely Japanese girl fundraised and created an amazing skatepark which is nestled in the corn fields on the hills overlooking Lakey Peak. Its a beautiful location and something the kids and community can all enjoy. But the issue is they don't have the money for many skateboards and in fact even if they did, there is no skateboard shop on the whole island. Sometimes there is a que of up to to 10 kids waiting their turn on one of the community or friends skateboards.

We have teamed up with Pete from Pyramid Skate shop here in Cabarita Beach NSW and he is going to help us get some gear together to take over at Christmas time.

What we are fundraising for is the gear and also getting it over to Lakey.

Then we are going to hold a BBQ and skate comp at the park on or around boxing day this year, weather depending and giveaway the gear to the kids, Ensuring the kids that need the gear will get something.

Any amount will help, no amount is too small.

Pete has already donated 7 blank decks.
