A family at Lakewood Elemtentary (with siblings at Githens and Jordan) is facing a court ordered eviction within a matter of days.

Because of recent ICE raids, the family has been fearful of leaving the house.  This fear has impacted their ability to get to their jobs. 

The family has been working hard to make up lost works days, but they are short about $1,000 due to the late rent fees and court fees tacked on. 

Please consider helping this family with any amount possible. Our goal is to keep our DPS children out of homelessness and in a stable environment so that they can thrive in school and beyond.
