My name is Catherine Ortiz. Yesterday January 6,2022 i was leaving my Daughters school and there was an accident that happened on 136 ave and 10th St in pembroke pines. A little girl was hit by a car while she was on the way home from school. When I noticed what happened I automatically call 911 and it was something so horrific and that I do not wish upon any parent. The little girl was on my mind all night and in my prayers I thought everything was going to be OK until not long ago I heard the news that she passed away. she was only seven years old in the second grade at Lakeside elementary . Unfortunately this is a very sad moment for her family, parents, students of lakeside elementary and the city of Pembroke Pines. I would like to start this go fund me to help with anything that the family will need help with. I do not personally know the girl nor the family but I am trying to gather information to be able to contact the mother. I cannot imagine the pain that she is currently going through and I do not wish this upon anybody so let’s gather together to just donate as much as we can and be able to help this family out in this horrible times.
