Who We Are:
Lakeland Tropics Futbol Club, a not for profit organization, serving over 2000 children & their families in Lakeland and surrounding areas, is committed to providing a superior inclusive soccer experience for all of the area’s youth by offering both recreational and highly competitive travel team opportunities. This commitment is accomplished through an organization of volunteers and soccer professionals, who administer the training programs. It is our intent as an organization to promote honor, integrity, teamwork, perseverance, confidence and sportsmanship both on and off the field.

Our Challenge:  
Many of our members have faced layoffs, business closures and uncertainty of the future. As well, our sponsors are also undergoing incredible financial strain. Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, our organization is also facing challenging and difficult decisions. 

Purpose of this Fundraiser:
Like many, there are families in our Club and our local community that have been economically affected by COVID-19. Funds from this event will assist with our Community Fund - which proceeds benefit our players and their families. 100% of monies raised from this initiative will go to the players & teams at LTFC to provide for spring refunds and any financial assistance for our travel families, if needed.   

The Plan: 
Right now, with the Spring season canceled, and fields remaining closed, the Club must consider how we can support our families, while recovering from a considerable loss of finances due to these closures.  Costs have already been incurred for the Spring, many of which are non refundable, such as uniforms, insurance and fees.  

Our goal is to raise contributions to assist our families & community to insure our kids have an affordable and excellent opportunity to play soccer here in Lakeland.

Your contribution will help in a variety of ways: 

1.  Provide refunds for Spring 2020 Inter-League players as requested and / or provide for reductions to the Fall 2020 season for spring players. 

2.  Provide financial assistance for any travel players who require it.   

3.   Manage the loss of sponsorship revenue due to sponsor closures, field closures, etc.
