"Lake Pirates" Educational Short Film Project

The last couple of years have been ROUGH for the Utah Film Industry. Between union strikes, losing tax incentives, covid recovery, etc., a lot of people have been struggling to stay afloat, and we want to help in the best way we know how-- Making a movie! Funding "Lake Pirates" means creating 27 jobs for 4 days of shooting--all going to people who need the work.

"Lake Pirates" is the story of a young couple, Tina and David, and their encounter with a crew of campsite-pillaging homeless people. Chaos ensues when the self-proclaimed "pirates" rob David and Tina's campsite and rope the young couple into their shenanigans.
