Laith Alhirz
Donation protected
On the Sunday 3rd November, Laith and his siblings and father were on a fishing trip in The Entrance on The Central Coast NSW when they were crossing the channel and were caught in the current.
Helpers along with Laith's Father were able to save his 3 siblings, but sadly Laith was lost in the Ocean.
His body was found in the lake at The Entrance at aproximately 2:30pm on the 6th of November.
This fundraiser is to raise funds to assist the family with any financial costs to take that pressure off during this time of mourning, and allow them to peacefully grieve the loss of their angel boy.
Laith was a gorgeous 11 year old boy, always smiling, and was a very very much loved son, brother and nephew.
His family would like to sincerely thank The Central Coast community, the police and rescue teams, and every single person and business that has shown kindness and support to them during this time.
They do request their privacy and do not wish to be contacted by the media.
There was previously a GoFundMe campaign created by a local volunteer in The Entrance, and due to a miscommunication with a third party, that campaign was suspended and all donations were refunded to each individual.
This campaign has been created by the family of Laith, with support from that volunteer - we apologise for the misunderstanding, but can confirm that the previous fund raiser was legitimate and welcomed by our family.
Thank you for the support and prayers for our angel.
