Lainey’s 2022 Travel Season

Hey everyone! My name is Lainey Driggett. I am about to be a junior at Merritt Island High School this next year. I have played in band, I tried basketball, I did chorus but none of these things have brought me the happiness that wrestling has. Wrestling has been a passion of mine since I was in middle school but this last year it has been my main focus besides school. Girls wrestling was sanctioned last year, meaning girls wrestling has gotten a bit more competitive. During high school season, we now need to wrestle through and place at districts and regionals to qualify for state! In the pre season and post season I have been competing, conditioning and training a bunch. I really want to have what it takes this next year to place at the big state tournament. I have previously competed in Disney Duals, Sunshine Duals and Viper Pit Duals. I am hoping to raise funds for my travels and such this post season. I will be competing at this years Disney Duals and shortly after I’ll be in Alabama for Deep South Duals. Anything will help me accomplish my goals and I’m appreciative for all the love and support from you all.
