Laines Family Home Fire Recovery Fund

Late afternoon January, 25th, 2021 in Paterson, New Jersey, was a devastating day for my close friend and her family. A fire starting in the backyard caught spread to their house while the family was away. My friend returned home to find inside, and everything in it burned down. Aside from losing their belongings, clothes, beds, equipment, and things that were special to them, this was a home built by someone she lost recently. They weren’t able to take much with them as their home is extensively damaged from the fire. 


Right now everything is sensitive and decisions towards what will happen next aren't clear, but we can help this family financially begin to pick up some pieces.

 
I can't imagine my friend's pain, but I'm hoping by reaching out, we can help the family begin to move forward from this tragedy with a little ease.
