Hi, I’m Karissa and I’m raising money for my favorite girl, Laila. I am brushing away my pride, and asking for your help. I don’t love that I’m doing this, but for those who know me and know Laila know that she is my everything and my best friend. We have been through A LOT together. She is active, happy, loving and just the best dog. This week, she randomly started walking funny and running into walls, cabinets and falling over. It started getting worse over the past few days so I took her to my vet and then we ended up in the emergency room to see the neurologist.

Laila’s blood work came back great.

Her Xray was great.

The neurologist found some inflammation in her brain but doesn’t think it looks cancerous. The radiologist is confirming and they ran some more tests to check for inflammatory diseases, as well as autoimmune diseases. Since we have a holiday weekend ahead, we won’t know the results until next week. The neurologist said Laila could live 8 more years and she sees the fight, the drive and the strength in her.

I am already at $7000 in vet bills and that doesn’t cover her future management or diagnosis. I am asking for some help and any dollar counts. I know a lot of people love my Laila girl, so thank you in advance for the love, prayers and check-ins. We are so incredibly blessed.
