Hi! My name is Laila Hampson, I'm a 21-year old student-athlete from Hamilton, ON, currently studying at York University and competing as a sprinter/jumper for the Track & Field Team. Through the RBC Training Ground, I was scouted and identified as an athlete with Olympic Potential in the sport of Bobsleigh. My entry into the sport will mean spending the next two years attending training camps and getting as strong as I can, so that I can finish out my degree and be the best athlete I can be, in hopes of qualifying for the 2030 Winter Olympics.

Training camps, travel costs and accommodations, team fees, gear, safety equipment, and more, is all out-of-pocket. Covering this requires tremendous support from my community, which is what I'm asking for by opening this GoFundMe. Any amount helps, and brings me one step closing to repping the Maple Leaf with pride. It truly takes a village, and I can't thank you enough for your support.
