The Douglas & Mackay tribe are not coping.

For myself, Gilbert, Nyaradzo & Thelma…

There has been alot of loss in our lives,

Many of you know...

This one, coming now, is so very hard to take…

My beloved Therapy Dog Laika has just been diagnosed with an aggressive mast cell tumour. We hope it is only one lump - but need to find out through surgery & xrays.

This feels like too much,

I am crumbling & scared.

We would like to afford vet care

But to be honest - it is stretching us...

Our family commitments in Zim,

Gogo's need for a roof over her head...

Laika is still young & has a strong life force...

She has been my joy & my rock.

She has slept by my bed faithfully when I hid & slept in my cubby for months...Unable to get out of bed with my symptoms from mental illness.

Our Twa dogs have made our house a home filled with wild love.

Floki is scared too

His humans are being weird. 

If you are able - please only commit what you can afford - even $2 helps. But, These times are tough on so many of us - & many folks may be unable to help financially- 

So also forwarding love to my darling girl & our family at this this time is so gratefully received and needed. 

We all need love.
