Laid Blak Foundation

Laid Blak are launching their foundation, with the vision of bringing music & art to our children through workshops, youth mentoring and holiday programs but we need your support to enable as many children as possible to benefit from this.

 

2022 will see us celebrate 20 years of being together as Laid Blak. An amazing 2 decades of hard work has created a bank of wonderful memories, not just for us but for the many beautiful human beings that have supported us along the way.

 

Our music has always brought smiles to the faces of all ages, but at the heart of everything we do, our motivation has come from witnessing the joy on the faces of children participating in our music. For those who have been to our shows would know, bringing children to the stage is what we do and damn does it mean a lot to see the happiness that it brings to one and all!

 

So, with our anniversary approaching next year, we felt it time to formalize our youth work, to create a structured platform to enable us to take our music workshops and youth mentoring into schools, youth community groups as well as festivals and large-scale music events.

 

Our annual kids Christmas party will see us launch the Laid Blak Foundation. A perfect opportunity for us to showcase the electricity that is created when watching young children come alive on stage, witnessing the courage and bravery that comes with breaking down barriers and performing in front of an audience.

 

Our goal is to enable more young children to express themselves, to have an opportunity to be creative while discovering new energies and ultimately finding a passion in music and art.

 

Your donations will enable us to purchase equipment, program workshops and implement the holiday sessions we are looking to roll out, as well as much much more. Thank you for your support x
