High School Baseball team in Maui needs our help!!

Aloha, My name is Richard Vasquez and I'm a umpire and baseball lover here on the island of Maui. Our baseball community is a very close knit family that will never give up. As we all know the devastation that happened to Lahaina Town in Maui on August, 8th 2023. Many people have suffered and are still suffering to this day. What hurts me the most is when I see kids suffering. I'm calling on the Baseball Angels once again or any kind soul that would love to help out in this time of need. The Lahainaluna Lunas High School Baseball Team needs our help!!!! After the terrible wildfire that destroyed this beautiful town and all it's buildings, it also destroyed it's baseball field in the process. Right now the team has no place to practice except for a big patch of uneven grass that is very dangerous to play a sport like baseball on. All donations will go to making that patch of grass a field of dreams so the team can have a safe place to practice. The field needs to be graded and leveled, new turf, pitching mounds & batting cages so they can prepare for their games. This baseball space will more importantly give these young men something positive to think about besides the last few months. Many of these players and their families have lost everything. Let us all come together NOW and try and put smiles on their faces again so they can just play ball. The season is approaching very quickly and it will take time to get everything done. So, if you have the means no matter how small the donation is, it will all help out!!!
