Lahaina Wildfire Recovery for Cynthia Ortiz

Donation protected
Aloha friends and family, I have set up this gofundme to help my mother Cynthia Ortiz Cook through this time of need.
On August 9th, 2022 her beloved husband, Tommie Cook, passed away.
On August 9th, 2023 she learned the news that the community she called home for nearly 20 years all burned to ashes. Included in this loss was her place of employment, Fleetwood’s on Front Street. For the last 10 years, my mom has shared countless beautiful memories with her Ohana here. She said her wedding vows here. Friends turned into family here. The warm energy surrounded her with comfort and allowed her to process the grief of her husband's passing. That space is now gone.

The picture above is one of the last pictures she took at Fleetwood’s on her anniversary. Every person in this photo has been affected by the Lahaina fires. Anything you are able to donate at this time is much appreciated so she can start bringing the pieces of her life back together. Thank you so very much.
