Jan and Harriet lost literally everything in the Lahaina Fires.
The retired sisters are both in their 80s and lived in the home that their father Ted Ota built and lived in.
The sisters grew up in Lahaina, went to Kamehameha III elementary and graduated from Lahainaluna High School.
I am writing this GoFundMe to help my mom -Jan and my Aunty Harriet (K). I moved away and live in Texas. We will send every Penny to help Harriet and Jan get back some sort of new life.
They both left the house with just the clothes on their backs and slippers.
Any help is appreciated and we are more than willing to verify any requests as this is a real tragedy for Lahaina town.
