A big heartfelt thank you to everyone that has reached out with your concerns, thoughts, and prayers.

My heart is heavy to announce that on August 8th, 2023, our island of Maui was turned upside down as the Lahaina wildfire mercilessly destroyed the homes of several people dear to my heart.

For those that don't know me, I'm the owner of SwellWomen and have been living and working on Maui since 2009. Due to the nature of my business, I'm connected to many people in the Lahaina surf community.

Thankfully, I have heard that these friends & families evacuated safely, but the flames took away their sense of security and stability, leaving them to face an uncertain future. I’m hoping that with the help of my personal connections and the SwellWomen community, we can raise funds to provide each family with the support and resources they need to start rebuilding their lives.

My Mission: The funds raised through this campaign will serve to support those dear to my heart that have been affected, enabling them to take the first steps toward recovery. Your contributions will be allocated to:

Replacing Essentials: The fire took away their homes and most of their belongings. Your support will help them secure accommodation, food, clothing, furniture, and other essentials to rebuild their lives and/or businesses.
