Lahaina, Maui USA devastating wildfire tragedy

Dear Friends

My name is Fr Liam Kelleher's Catholic priest based in Cobh, Co. Cork, Ireland. I have been visiting my friends in Lahaina, Maui every year for the past 25 years and regarded it as my home from home. I know more than 200 people there. They have lost their homes and entire possessions. Over 2,000 homes are in ashes and the beautiful Front Street world renowned is no more. More than 100 residents have lost their lives and 1,300 are missing. It is one of the worst tragedies in USA's history.

I have organized many fundraisers down the years for various causes, but this is the most important one ever.

I have chosen 2 friends Gail Falkenbury whose mum is from Ireland and whom I have known since 1984 and her best friend Chyna Colorado, both were together escaping the fire. They have agreed to manage the fund to help as many fiends as possible who have lost everything.
