Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii Fire Victims - please help!

On behalf of our daughter's boyfriend Alex, and his family -

We are sure this is the first of many GoFundMe's for this horrific fire but want to start one for the family of our daughter's boyfriend, Alex's family. Alex is an amazing young man with a bright future and his parents have sacrificed a lot for him and his siblings. His mom and two younger siblings are now homeless, after narrowly escaping the Lahaina fires 8/9 with nothing but the clothes they were wearing. Their entire life savings, which took years to build, was wiped out in an instant.

We have opened our home to his parents and siblings along with his Aunt, Uncle and cousins as they are in desperate need of help to get back on their feet. If you are looking to help an amazing family and can spare anything at all, it would mean everything to us. The money will directly go towards finding a place for his family to stay and just trying to rebuild their lives.

**UPDATE** we have all of Alex's family at our house tonight with a desperate need to de-stress, eat a meal, take a warm shower and have at least one stress free night of safe sleep. We and Alex's family (our collective ohana) want to THANK YOU so much. Please spread the word, so that they can buy clothes, food, look for housing asap. With most of their work being done in Lahaina, they're also losing their opportunity to earn. Mahalo!
